Dr. Marnee Firestone Schneider is a licensed psychologist who specializes in clinical psychology and pediatric neuropsychology. Her approach is grounded in the Bio-Psycho-Social Model. Her specific techniques and skills, along with medical knowledge, are employed for effective assessment and treatment of patients with psychological and/or physiological and medical conditions from a behavioral, cognitive, or psychoanalytic framework. Dr. Marnee has published several articles, been interviewed for national print & online media, has been a guest lecturer at schools and universities, and has been featured on several parenting podcasts.
Dr. Marnee brings over 20 years of professional experience and training to her private practice. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with teaching certificates for Early Childhood through Kindergarten, and two Master’s degrees: the first Master’s degree is in Developmental Psychology and the second Master’s degree in School Psychology. Additionally, Dr. Marnee earned her APA accredited Dual Doctorate in School and Clinical Child Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology.
Dr. Marnee lives in Boca Raton with her family. She provides individual therapy, family and parenting therapy, and conducts a variety of evaluations in her Boca Raton office. Modalities of therapy include cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and interpersonal therapy. Evaluations include psychological, neurodevelopmental, gifted, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Marnee also works closely with physicians, schools, attorneys, and other professionals.
